Hello,
I have a machine, outside my domain, that I am trying to configure to access my work email (Exchange 2010 server) through Outlook 2016. Unlike other versions, Outlook 2016 does not allow me to manually enter the server and proxy settings, it just gives me
the options of Office 365, POP & IMAP and Exchange ActiveSync. I've tried it in every possible way but so far I have not been able to configure it and in previous versions I could easily do it. When I try the ActiveSync settings, I fill in the fields with
the same information that I set in previous versions and it gives me the error that it could not connect to the server (something related to EAS).
When I log in with the machine in the domain it automatically detects the user and connects, or when I set an email from some other Exchange server it also connects which leads me to think that the problem is in the configuration of my Exchange which, by thw
way, it's not using any hosting service like godaddy.
Has anyone ever had a similar problem?
Thanks
