ActiveSyncMailbox policy for Room mailbox in exchange server

Hi ,

Can we perform ActiveSyncMailboxPolicy on room mailbox in exchange

while executing the commanlet Set-CASMailbox we get below error is it intended what is the reason behind this

Administrative Policy returned an error. The action 'Set-CASMailbox', 'ActiveSyncMailboxPolicy', may not be performed by the Resource Mailbox 'Conf Room1'.
