Exchange 2013 - Mobile Connectivity Issue - Failing to download messages

Hi there people,

My first time posting here ,so apologies for any mistakes in etiquette!

We have recently recovered our DC and Exchange 2013 server from a disaster, was a bit of a nightmare but managed to restore everything from scratch and backups and mounting recovery databases etc.

I initially had an issue with OWA having a blank loading screen once users logged in, but rebuilding the virtual directory fixed this issue.

The only issue I have now is that mobile devices are unable to download the full body of messages, the preview works, but when a user goes into a mail message on their phone, it says "The message has not been downloaded from the server.." there is a button at the bottom saying "Download remainder of message 0 Bytes", but this does nothing.

This is only when a user is connected via 3g or their own wireless, when their phone enters the building everything is fine.

I have ran textexchangeconnectivity.com on both activesync and autodiscovery and all comes back fine with just a few minor warnings.

Minor Warnings:

Analyzing the certificate chains for compatibility problems with versions of Windows.
Potential compatibility problems were identified with some versions of Windows.
Additional Details
The Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer can only validate the certificate chain using the Root Certificate Update functionality from Windows Update. Your certificate may not be trusted on Windows if the Update Root Certificates feature isnt enabled.

Tell me more about this issue and how to resolve it

Additional Details
The certificate is trusted on Windows Phone 7 and later versions. Devices running Windows Mobile 6.0 or earlier may not be able to sync. Root = CN=DigiCert High Assurance EV Root CA, OU=www.digicert.com, O=DigiCert Inc, C=US.

I found the following article which relates to this known issues in exchange 2010 SP1 (even though I'm on exchange 2013, I thought as it is so similar to the issue I am experiencing, maybe it is on the same engine?)

I had checked the accepted domains and all looked well, So I am a little bit stumped! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
