This week's Outlook upgrade screwed up my Samsung mobile phone deleting calendar entries (most important that these be recovered!), phone contacts and favorite phone contacts as well as disabling certain features on the phone (the ability to block phone
numbers, for example). A number that has been blocked on the phone is still able to call through. My cell phone provider was able to recover my phone contacts, but the CALENDAR is 99% GONE! Of the calendar entries it DID keep, those entries were
corrupted. For example, a one-day annually recurring event (a birthday) now appears as a 3, 4 or 5-day event. My wireless provider tells me that AutoSync is turned Off and they are unable to turn it back on. No one knows why. I do not keep
a calendar in Outlook on my home computer; only entries on my phone. So, why did this Outlook upgrade "push" disable these features on my phone? My Outlook account is connected to the cell phone. I contacted Microsoft Help Desk
and was advised that this is an Outlook / Active Sync issue. I have been in queue for the Outlook.com desk for 3 days now. What can be done to correct this and get my calendar entries back?
