We currently have an Exchange 2007 and 2010 coexistence setup. Users on Apple IPhones are experiencing a situation where periodically their phone will spontaneously initiate a download all their mail etc. Reading on the Apple Forums they suggest changing the Heart Beat Interval to 59 minutes. This has been done, and the issue keeps cropping up. I am in the process of verifying the connection timeouts on the firewall(s) and load balancer(s), but my question as kind of a cross verification, is there anyway to log the Active Sync reply to Ping? This is so that I can demonstrate that the exchange server is replying, but when it does, the connection has already been terminated, or the reply is being blocked for some reason. Would upping the diagnostic logging on ActiveSync provide this information?
Thanks
Mike
