We are running an Exchange 2013 server with current SP and updates.
Note - the issue reported only happened about 3 or 4 times.
Users reported that they were being prompted for credentials to connect to the mail server. However, any credentials they tried failed. Later, everything started working normally on its own.
I believe when there is a loss of connection to the server, it simply says that the connection failed, or is unavailable.
I'm trying to check if there was anything temporary fault on the Exchange server; or if I can better narrow down the source of the problem. Would there be any Events that I could look up?
I know this is an odd issue. Some general guidance would be appreciated.
